It’s a strange twist in an already contorted story–on Monday, a judge approved a plan to allow the suit O.J. Simpson was wearing when he was acquitted of murder in 1995 to be donated to the Smithsonian. And on Tuesday, the Smithsonian said thanks, but the jacket and pants didn’t belong in its archive of historical artifacts.
